Booking Terms & Policies

BOOKING TERMS

The reservation is only valid after an advance payment of 100% of the total amount to a bank account that will be given by the hotel management. Customers bear all transaction costs of the Bank.

Arrival time after 14:30 | Departure time until 11:00.

In case of cancellation of the reservation, the deposit is refunded only if the cancellation is made fourteen (14) days before the scheduled date of arrival. Cancellation of accommodation is accepted only in writing.

In case of cancellation of the reservation less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled date of arrival, the customer is charged with one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the advance payment, while for cancellation of the reservation less than seven (7) days before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable. Possible costs of returning the advance payment are borne by the customer.

Any reduction in the number of nights of a confirmed reservation is accepted in writing without charge within a period of twenty (20) days before the scheduled date of arrival and upon approval by the hotel management. Less than forty (40) days from the original arrival date, the customer is charged fifty percent (50%) of the nights canceled. Reservations of 3 nights or less are excluded, in which case for any reduction in the number of nights, there will be a charge of 100% of the total amount of the stay. (This paragraph does not apply to non-refundable reservations, where there is no possibility of return or cancellation).

If the guest gives notice in less than forty-eight (48) hours, he is charged 100% of this amount. (This paragraph does not apply to non-refundable reservations, where there is no possibility of return or cancellation).

In case of no-show or late arrival, the customer will be charged the total cost of his scheduled stay.

Based on the provisions of no. 23 of Law 4172/2013, all transactions between a professional and an individual over five hundred euros (€500.00) including VAT must be carried out with bank means of payment.

The hotel may refuse the reservation or stay, according to the following cases, if:

The person seeking accommodation is likely to violate laws and ordinances of the state or to act against public order or morals through, because of and/or on account of his residence.

The person seeking accommodation belongs to or is associated with an organized crime group or is an anti-social element.

The person seeking accommodation is a member of a company or other group that directs and controls a gang or gang members.

The person seeking accommodation is a member of a company whose employees include one or more gang members.

The person seeking accommodation engages in coercive acts, such as threatening or extorting hotel staff, or makes unreasonable demands, or is known to have a history of committing similar acts.

The person seeking accommodation can be clearly identified as a carrier of an infectious disease.

The hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to occupancy, natural disasters, malfunctioning facilities and/or other unavoidable causes.

The person seeking accommodation is drunk and likely to cause a disturbance to other guests.

The person seeks accommodation with the ulterior motive of making a profit for himself or a third party by engaging (indicatively) in any kind of sales operations within the hotel premises or in the apartment, for which he has booked.

The person seeking accommodation does not comply with the provisions set out in these Terms & Conditions or with the provisions regarding payment and/or room cancellation, specified at the time of booking.

ACCOMMODATION TERMS

  • The provision of cleaning services is daily, unless the guest refuses the service.
  • It is strictly forbidden to use the suites and apartments for other guests, from those who have been declared, without prior information and identification of personal information. For each undeclared and irregular stay of any time between 14:30-11:00, the holder of the reservation declares and accepts that he will be obliged to pay an additional charge of one hundred euros (€100.00).
  • It is expressly forbidden to light a fire, use candles, lighters, etc. in any position INSIDE the suite, apartment and other common areas (except outside). In any case of non-compliance with this condition, the holder of the reservation declares and accepts that he will be obliged to pay an additional charge of one hundred euros (€100.00) in addition to the recorded damages from the specific malicious action.
  • The equipment (electrical appliances, furniture, etc.) and items in the guest apartments are strictly for the guests staying at the hotel. Therefore, inside the apartments, the use of such equipment and objects by outside guests is prohibited. Furthermore, the use of equipment, as well as clothing, outside the rooms is not allowed. In the event that the customer finds that any device is not working properly or at all, he is requested to immediately inform the hotel management, in order to repair or replace them. Damage or loss of the card (entry/exit) outage of electricity is charged thirty euros (€30.00).
  • If the customer finds that the apartment and/or his reservation is not what he ordered, he has the right to immediately report the fact to the competent authorities, as well as to leave the apartment, settling his account until then. Any attempt to defame, misinform or drag the business from the customer, before or after his departure, entails the activation of all the penalties provided by law and conditions for claiming compensation.
  • It is forbidden to move the objects and in general any portable or mobile equipment in the hotel/apartments/suites from their fixed positions without the permission of the management.
  • It is forbidden to move the devices, machines and lighting in the hotel or the apartments without permission from the management.
  • It is strictly forbidden for the guest/tenant to bring into the hotel premises:
    a) items that exceed the normal amount that can be carried for an overnight stay in a hotel,
    b) weapons, swords, drugs, etc.,
    c) explosive and flammable materials or objects containing essential oils, which can ignite or cause fire,
    d) any other items that may pose a threat to the safety of other hotel guests.
    e) Any related type of consumption to those sold inside the hotel
  • It is forbidden to create a nuisance and cause loud noises inside the hotel or the guest apartments.
  • Any action that violates public order and morals inside the hotel or in the guest apartments is prohibited.
  • The promotion of promotional goods or the sale of items to other guests as well as the collection of donations or signatures from them inside the hotel premises without the prior permission of the management is prohibited.
  • It is strictly forbidden inside the hotel or the apartments to take any photos that may disturb the other guests of the hotel. In common areas, prior permission from the management is required.

SMOKING POLICY

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartments, corridors and all closed areas of the hotel. In any case of non-compliance and registration of a smoke incident inside a closed space, the guest/customer of the accommodation declares and accepts that there will be a charge/penalty of one hundred and fifty euros (€150.00) per guest, plus any additional charges that may apply from the consequences of these malicious actions. (Wetting/odor of the room, damage from burns, need to send all portable equipment to a dry cleaner, disturbance of other guests due to the announcement of a fire alarm and automatic notification of the fire brigade, etc.)

KITCHEN USE POLICY WITHIN THE APARTMENTS

  • Customers are responsible for the proper use of the kitchen in their apartments.
  • It is forbidden to prepare food that may cause strong long-term odors in the apartments (eg fish, frying, etc.).
  • The apartments should be ventilated during and after any type of cooking (pause of air conditioning and opening of windows).
  • Ventilation must be used during cooking.
  • In case the apartment is delivered with a strong smell of food, which has soaked the furniture and fabrics, there will be a cleaning fee of three hundred and fifty euros (€350.00).
  • Customers are entirely responsible for cleaning and washing used dishes and utensils.
  • If you do not intend to use the kitchen and prefer not to have sharp objects in your apartment, please let us know so we can remove them from it. The hotel is not responsible for accidents that may be caused by the unauthorized use of the kitchen and kitchen items/accessories by minors.

PET POLICY

  • Only service animals are allowed. Please inform us at the time of booking of your intention to come to the hotel with a guide dog or other service animal so that we can prepare accordingly for its presence.

INFANTS & EXTRA PEOPLE

  • Infants and children up to 3 years of age are accommodated free of charge in baby cots, which are placed in the apartment. Maximum number per apartment is one (1) cot (playpen).
  • For children over three (3) years of age and for each additional adult customer, the charge amounts to twenty euros (€20.00) per child and overnight stay (the customer must inform at the time of booking by showing identification information). The maximum capacity for extra bed(s) depends on the type of apartment. Contact us for more information.
  • Baby cots/cots and extra beds are available upon request and offer.

ACCESS POLICY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (PWD)

  • Sigma Luxury Apartments & Suites is fully compliant with the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Be sure to let us know about your personal requirements in the comments section of the online booking form or by calling us directly at 2310.61.77.77 after the booking has been approved.

REGULATIONS & TERMS OF USE OF THE SWIMMING POOL

1) The following are not allowed:

• Diving

• Sun creams, oils and other lubricants

• Walking around the external pool perimeter

• Eating and drinking while inside the pool

• Smoking inside the pool

• Swimming without wearing swimsuit

• Staying inside the pool during bad weather conditions (rain, lightning, thunder)

2) You must be aware that pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. In case you need one, please contact reception and make a written enquiry.

3) Use of swimming pool by people who do not know swimming is prohibited.

4) Please enter the pool only using the ladder.

5) For healthy reasons, please have a shower before entering in the pool.

6) Please respect the common quiet hours 14:00-17:00 and 23:00-7:30.

7) Hotel is not responsible for any accidents due to misuse or in case of not keeping safety measures by customers.

I have received knowledge of the above as well as the other conditions as they are posted on the hotel’s website and I agree to abide by the rules and conditions of use, during my stay at the Penthouse of Sigma Luxury Apartments & Suites.
Also not allowed in the pool/jacuzzi:

  • The dives
  • Sunscreens and other lubricants
  • Walking around the edge of the pool
  • The consumption of alcohol and food in the pool/jacuzzi
  • Smoking in the pool/jacuzzi
  • Swimming in the pool/jacuzzi without wearing a swimsuit
  • Use of the pool/jacuzzi in bad weather conditions (rain, lightning, thunder)

It is noted that:

  • The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard unless requested by the customer for special reasons.
  • The use of the pool by those who do not know how to swim is prohibited.
  • You enter the pool exclusively using the ladder.
  • Please, for reasons of hygiene, use a shower before using the pool.
  • Please respect the common quiet hours 14:00-17:00 and 23:00-7:30.
  • In any case of incorrect use or non-observance of the instructions or the necessary safety measures by the customers, the hotel bears no responsibility in the event of an accident.

CHILDREN POLICY

  • Children under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by parents/guardians at all times during their stay at the hotel.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for preventing use by their children. any sharp objects, switches, door handles and door frames, electrical devices, etc. in each area of ​​the hotel / suite / apartment.
    We can, upon your request, remove any sharp objects from the apartment and block the use of electrical appliances to avoid accidents.
  • The hotel is not responsible for accidents caused by the unauthorized use of kitchen appliances and utensils by minors.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

  • The personal details of our customers, i.e. name, address, age, gender, nationality and occupation, date of stay and estimated time of arrival, remain confidential and are used only to complete the booking, unless requested by the Authorities for control purposes and security. Customers’ email address may be used by the business for communication and information purposes.
  • You have the right to request access and correction of your personal information.
  • For more information about the processing of your personal data or the exercise of your rights, please contact us.
  • For security reasons, the common areas are videotaped 24 hours a day with security systems in visible places of the accommodation and with the necessary warning signs.

To ensure that Sigma Luxury Apartments & Suites owned by Sigma Boutique Hotel S.A is accepted by the public and provides a safe and comfortable stay for guests, all the terms and regulations herein must be observed, failure to observe them may lead to in cancellation of guests’ stay and/or refusal to use our facilities.


In any case, by staying at the hotel, the customer declares that he has been informed and accepted all the conditions herein as well as the observance of the relevant written provisions of the law.
